FIRE FIRE FIRE - Take 2

Well, after the success of last years D Crew ‘FIRE FIRE FIRE’ shoot, A Crew got a little jealous and asked if I would like to come back and shoot their crew’s team photos. (an obvious yes)

It means a lot to me to be able to work with emergency services. These guys and girls put themselves on the line every day and I like being able to give something back to them in my own way.

This year as well as my usual style I wanted to switch it up with some ‘lights and sirens’ colour to bring another dimension to the shoot. It kind of feels like images for the reality TV show ‘Police Strike Force’ 😂.

We even got to bring the services together shooting brothers Luke (police) and Jack (fire) together.

As ex military myself, looking back I wish we took more photos of us doing our thing, photos with ‘the boys’ and memories of my time in the service. To be able to take these images for the crew I know they will look back at these and think “remember when….”.

Keeping to my style, I love being able to look into their eyes and see the purpose, scars and duty within them. Its very important to me to have a simple portrait capture the emotions and history of the person in front off my lens.

I really enjoyed when the guys let out some of their humorous personality 🤣.

If you have a project with emergency services or defense I would love to be involved.

Luke
